Leverage IT Consulting is a regional IT management company with offices in Reno and Sacramento. This position is located in Sacramento, California.

Our IT Engineers are responsible for the support, design and implementation of client internal systems. We support and deliver on-prem, hosted and cloud environments, as well as providing technical assistance to team members with system and network requests. This relates to all technology including: workstations, on-prem servers, cloud-servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware, line of business software and Software as a Service solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Ability to analyze client problems, design technical solutions, and make recommendations.
  • Intermediate to advanced Windows server support/design experience, as well as network support and design.
  • Intermediate to advanced server troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to diagnose IT and computer systems issues; hardware, software, networking, server, VPN and operator incidents
  • Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Understanding of project management, support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment. Basic server troubleshooting skills
  • Accountable for meeting project delivery deadline and goals.
Requirements
  • Client Service: 2+ years’ experience
  • Technical Support: 2+ years’ experience
  • Experience using service ticketing PSA/Professional Service Application solution (ConnectWise Manage preferred)
  • Experience utilizing and managing Remote Monitoring and Management / Alerting and Management (monitoring) solutions ConnectWise Automate/Labtech, Kaseya, N-Able or others
  • TCP/IP networking
  • Advanced experience with the Microsoft Office suite and Office 365
  • Microsoft Server OS
  • Basic skills in IT Project Management
  • Anti-Virus and Anti-SPAM solutions
  • Firewall configuration and troubleshooting (SonicWall preferred)
  • Backup and DR solutions (StorageCraft preferred)
  • VPN remote access configuration & troubleshooting
  • Network printer troubleshooting
  • Active Directory user management
  • College/Technical education, AA or BS degree Requirements and Certifications
    • 2+ years or greater IT support experience
    • 2+ years or greater Windows Server administration experience
  • Microsoft certifications
